‘32 Covers of Joe Meek Instrumentals<\/strong>‘ which has just been released on the Stylus Label. One of the tracks is ‘Sunday Date by ‘The Triumphs’. There was a version of this on the ‘Live at Amersham CD’ which was available only to Joe Meek Society members but this is a 2010 version which has never previously been released. As the liner notes say “this version is exclusive to the CD from the UK’s foremost Joe Meek covers band”. \nThe 33 track CD compilation pays Tribute to Instrumental Greats Of The 60\u2019s with The Triumphs paying tribute to \u2018The Saints\u2019 and \u2018The Outlaws\u2019 with their own unique versions of \u2018Wipe Out\u2019 and \u2018Husky Team\u2019. Other tribute tracks to the music of Joe Meek include \u2018Telstar\u2019 by guitarist Peter Williams, \u2018Ridin\u2019 The Wind\u2019 by The Tornados \u2018Jaywalker\u2019 by John Leyton\u2019s regular backing group, \u2018The Flames.
